I have finished December, January and February of my Bead Journal squares. I am so happy with myself, now if I can just stay even and finish each month on time. My squares have been influenced by the power and phases of the moon. Starting with the eclipse in December, the wonderful aurora in January, and well February is February. The moon has so much power over the earth and the tides etc. It even has some control over my life...full moon always brings on insomnia....wonder why. We have seen some wonderful moons this winter. Well, since there is a full moon just a few days away, I will have plenty of time to bead, since I won't be sleeping much. So, there is the upside of insomnia. Enough rambling, back to beading.I have yet to decide how I will finish these squares...maybe use them on a handbag, make a bead quilt...just haven't decided as yet.

These are fabulous, Charlene!!! My favorite is the eclipse, which I saw and loved. And the way you suggested the aurora is wonderful too. Well, OK, the grand, elegant simplicity of your February heart is also very beautiful.
You have a long time ahead to decide what to do with these pieces. In the meantime, just doing them is worth every moment they take, don't you think?
BTW, if you'll edit your post on the BJP blog and add a link to your blog, I'm sure a lot more of us would love to come take a look... or just repost with your link.
Beautiful bead embroidery!

These are all stunning Charlene! I can't wait to see what you'll gonna make next.
Wow, those are all beautiful! Love them and you!
Yay!!! It's so great to get caught up! Love them...the eclipse is particularly stunning :-)
Very, very pretty, your beading is so perfect!
I am visiting here via Janna's blog. Your beadwork is gorgeous. I love the Aurora one.
I also relate to the moon, but I haven't noticed insomnia during the full moon. Perhaps it's too bright for you to sleep well? Just a thought. I love, love, love your work, especially since they have faces. That's one of my favorite things, beading faces. Beautiful beading, and I'll be looking forward to your forthcoming monthly projects!
